Hi! I'm Alyson!
This blog is meant to chronicle my life as a young Christian wife in the 21st Century. God has this way of nudging me in a certain direction and I can tell this blog is where He has called me to right now. As a Christian I have heard the message of Proverbs 31 over and over again and truth be told my independent, I am woman side of me has pushed back against it. But now as I have gotten older, I have begun to see the beauty in this passage of scripture. Now I probably have a different opinion on these verses then some people do and that is OK. This blog is just a place for me (and maybe you) to flesh out what it looks like to be a Proverbs 31 woman in the 21st Century.
You will find that I have a variety of interests, so the topics on the blog will be all over the place. I may share a thought about my faith or a recipe or a random story or an event that just took place in my life.
I will try my best to be consistent ( I like consistency), but no promises. Life seems to have it's own way of doing things sometimes.
Hope you enjoy my ramblings!

Now about me.
This is me on my wedding day. What can I say, I have a flare for the dramatic
I have been married for going on two years to my high school sweetheart Mark. Being married is great, but let me say getting married at the ripe old age of 20 brings a lot of interesting experiences to say the least.
My name is Alyson Bundy. I live in Illinois. about an hour south of Chicago. People seem to think I would love living close to Chicago, but I don't. I am not a city girl by any means.
This is my husband Mark and I.
I love reading pretty much anything I can get my hands on. You may also find me in my kitchen baking or on-line discovering some new crafty project to try. My husband claims that I am addicted to organizing. He never knows what will be re-arranged when he comes home from work. Did I mention that I love to talk! I consider sitting for an hour and having a conversation with a person time well spent. After reading this blog you will soon discover that I am passionate about God and my faith. I live everyday trying to be attentive to God and his leading. You never know when He might use you to influence another person's life.
